In 2016-2018, Maksim Egorov worked as an aide to the Governor of the Tyumen Region. In 2018, he served as an adviser to the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utiities of the Russian Federation. In December 2018, he was appointed a Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
Maksim Egorov implements the state policy on legal regulation in the housing and utilities sectors. He is also responsible for public-private partnerships in the housing and utilities spheres, liquidation of emergency housing, modernization of the country’s public utilities complex, as well as issues related to the implementation of the Federal Project “Creating Comfortable Urban Environment”.
